Samsung Galaxy Book Go

Samsung is finally selling laptops in the Netherlands again and offers, among other things, this surprisingly affordable Galaxy Book Go, with an enormous battery life.

Those who like a long battery life have secretly had the best laptop in recent years with a tablet. But a tablet is never really a laptop in the end, and a laptop remains a better device for those who have to get work done. There is a reason why tablets have such a long battery life: the chip. That's why we recommend this Galaxy Book Go from Samsung.

The 14-inch Windows laptop runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 chip. We have known Snapdragons from smartphones and tablets for years and such devices last all day long. You can also expect that from this Galaxy Book Go. Samsung promises a battery life of up to 18 hours, although in practice this of course strongly depends on the use. But a working day or school day without a power outlet nearby is doable, and that is the power of this laptop.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c is strong enough for normal tasks, but a computer for games or image editing is obviously not. The screen of the laptop is 1080p but with a maximum brightness of 225 nits certainly not bright. Also, it doesn't offer as much color as more expensive laptops. The laptop comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The laptop has a built-in 4G antenna and is therefore independently mobile with a SIM card.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Go costs 449 euros and is available in silver.
